The company Samsung Heavy Industries built the argos hull floating production unit for the Mad Dog 2 project. It was loaded on Boskalis' semi-submersible heavy transport vessel BOKA Vanguard in late January. In November 2018, the Argos was given its name, after the loyal dog of Odysseus.
